The Divine Feminine

The feminine register of the divine — named in scripture's own grammar and welded always to the masculine it completes: Wisdom setting her table in Section 89, the Spirit brooding over the deep, the hen's gathering wing, Eve preaching the first human sermon, the earth crying out as the mother of men, Ruth the one certified woman of valor. Truth is the bone, grace the marrow, charity the living body. Where scripture speaks, these essays expound at full depth; where it keeps silence — above all concerning our Mother in Heaven — they point at the door and describe nothing, demonstrating her register rather than drafting her biography.
